Jeff will be remembered fondly by the neighbors on Chew St who were all saddened to hear of his passing. Jeff never failed to lend a hand to the elderly neighbors like my mother. She spoke of going over to check on him recently
when she noticed she hadn't seen his puppy. When she
found out that the pup had passed, she grieved with him.
We will all miss his warm and friendly smiles and the kindness of his heart. Thank you Jeff for caring for the neighborhood and my mother!...

I am so sad to learn of Jeff's untimely passing. We met as freshmen at Stony Brook. Although we stayed in touch only sporadically over the years there is a special bond that develops between college buddies that enables you to pick up where you left off even when it has been a long time between meetings. With Jeff gone the word is a bit less colorful place. Goodbye my old friend. Sorry to see you go.

I met Jeff almost 40 years ago when he was a freshman and I was a senior at Stony Brook University. He hit it off instantly with nearly all he met with his quirky sense of humor (even back then!).
While we didn't stay close we stayed in touch all these years. It was great seeing him on my last trip back east when we made a detour to Allentown to visit him at Beachead.
It's still hard to believe he's gone, but he will never be forgotten. He made the world a brighter and weirder place....

I can't believe Jeff has passed. I remember when he and Biff opened Beachhead. It seems like only a few years ago.
He and I argued (and then partly agreed) every week, but his opinions and his banter will be sorely missed.
He was a great guy. I hope he's at peace and my condolences and prayers are with Stephanie and Jeff's mom and everyone who cared about Jeff and his family.
