I was very sad to see Jeff's obituary. I had the privilege of coaching him in basketball during his time at Sehome High. He was an important part of our team and gave his best effort at all times. I had not seen him since high school and did not know he had been suffering from cancer. He is free of that now and I want to send my condolences to his family and friends.

Like a movie, we all have "stand by me moments" in life. For me, one of those times was the Summer of 88 junior year in Bellingham High School. Me and Jeff were addicted to basketball. We played basketball daily 24/7/365 together and when we were not doing that we were at Jeff's house playing double dribble on the big screen all night long haha (basketball) haha always competing in a good way!
