Not sure what to say?

Dear Susan, Elizabeth, and Ben,

I was a student and player of Coach Ruby when he was at Delone. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

I had a great respect for Coach's integrity and dedication. He was a man you could count on being there, as well as, a person who would tell it like it is. I remember having some conversations with him about selecting colleges and majors and his perspective was thought provoking and practical.

Please know that your husband/father...

Dear Sue, Ben, Betsy & family,

Although I never had the privilege of meeting Jeff, I always heard what a wonderful, caring man he was with a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. His loving memories will live on in your hearts forever.

Fondly,

Ann & John Krawczyk

To the Family of Mr. Ruby,

So sorry to hear of Mr. Ruby's passing. I am a 1984 Graduate of York High and remember Mr. Ruby well. He was also my brother's football coach and well liked by everyone. I have moved from the city and now live in the Red Lion area and my son plays football for Red Lion. Last night we played York High and at the beginning of the game Red Lion had a moment of silence for Coach Ruby and it brought tears to my eyes just thinking about him. Needless to say York...

Susan, Elizabeth & Benjamin,
My heartfelt condolences. Coach Ruby was one of the greatest men I have known in my life. I had the priviledge of playing under his and John Gastley's coaching earlier in his career at Delone. It's not surprising to see how many others who's lives he touched. I know how my fellow players at Delone feel about him. A tremendous legacy he leaves with all of us. Enjoy your reward in Paradise, Coach!

Dear Mrs Ruby and Family,
My heart goes out to your family during this difficult time. Coach Ruby was a wonderful influence to many York City Youth during his coaching years at York High. My son, Shawn, benefited from his push for education first, sports secondary. Coach Ruby was more than a coach to those who played for him. He will trully be missed and remains loved by all whom were so fortunated to be blessed by his company. God Bless and keep you all.

We have just return from a Rocky Mountain trip to this sad news. Jeff, Don and I were charter members of the "Flying Pigs Club". We could always make a production out of roasting a pig at school. Each day we met in Don's office to plan the day and cheer up Don. Jeff was a good friend and caring teacher. We discuss "yard" projects he was doing, how he was doing it and making sure he was on "solid ground". We supported each other programs and students.

Two years of retirement is too...

Sue, Ben and Family,
We very sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. God bless

So many great memories. My husband played football for Coach Ruby at York High, and I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher. So many times over the years his name has come up in almost every football story, when we get together with OLD HIGH SCHOOL friends. The Stories just wouldn't be the same with out him. Thanks for the memories COACH RUBE!!!! LOVE, The Keiser Family

To the Family and Friends of Mr. Ruby,
