Not sure what to say?

Jean, hope you are well. My wife Carol and I have a home in Chapel Hill, N.C. If you are visiting your daughter in Hickory and would like to reminisce, please send me an email at [email protected]. Keep smiling. Best.

Jeff was best man at my wedding in 1969 in Wichita, Kansas. We served in the Air Force together. Jeff had a great sense of humor and was several years older than myself and I learned many things about life from him. The last time we saw each other was at our home in Maryland in the early 2000´s. Jean my deepest sympathies and best wishes.

Dear Jean, Stephen and Laurie, I was saddened to read of Jeff"s passing in the Eagle. Jeff was one of a kind and the tributes by so many people bear out what a kind and caring person he was. It brought back memories of our early years living in Pittsfield. We first met your family at DUMC. I played bridge with you Jean for a number of years. As the years passed I ran into Jeff at Hillcrest and then ran into both you and Jeff at BMC. If Iam not mistaken both our sons (Stephen) graduated from...

Zell and Family, I was so saddened to hear of Jeffs passing. I'm sorry to learn Orlo passed also. I´m living in Williamsburg VA now. Please take care.

My condolences to Jeff's family and friends. I met jeff in 1984 while a patient at Hillcrest Hospital. He visited patients each day and was a friendly, caring presence in the sick room. I remember distinctly his so pleasant face and smile and his kind, encouraging words. He lives on forever in the memories of all the people he helped. Lord's Blessings and Comfort to all. With caring, Kris (Barbalunga) Mackey

Dear Jean & family - we are so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was truly my favorite Northumberland neighbor. He always had a smile on his face and was always so warm and inviting. The neighborhood has not been the same since the move. He got his money out of that porch. We will miss him!

Dear Jean and family, I am so sorry to hear of Jeffs passing. The class of 1961 has lost a true friend. I talked to him in November last year and said I would see him in the summer and he never answered me. Now I know why. I am sending love and prayers to you all at this time. Sincerely Jill Lane

I remember Jeff from the VVA Chapter 65 coffee hours at the Misty Moonlight Diner in Pittsfield. Rest in Peace, fellow veteran! Hank Frydel

I met Jeff on the trail a few years ago. Very nice man and we had some great conversations. I will miss seeing him there. My condolences to his family.
