Dear Mike and girls,
Dan and I were so sorry to hear of your recent loss of your wife and mother, Jen. Jen took care of Dan in the hospital last year when he was seriously ill, and she was so cheerful we had no idea of her illness and what must have been a very difficult struggle for her and all of you.
