Not sure what to say?

I worked alongside Jeremy in the Kolega lab for the latter half of my undergraduate career, and of all of the things that I remember as I look back on my time there, my fondest memories are of afternoons spent talking sports with him. No matter how busy he was, Jeremy was always happy to lend a hand. He brightened the mood of everyone around him with his smile and wonderful sense of humor. I will always remember Jeremy and the happiness that accompanied him.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Jeremy's unexpected passing. Jeremy and I started the PhD program together in Buffalo back in 2006 and we shared the same advisor, although I worked in a different lab. Whenever research got too serious I would stop in and see Jeremy because as you know he could always make you laugh. My thoughts & prayers are with The Hayes family for the loss of your loved one. I have known Jeremy since grammar school days & it was such a shock to have heard of his passing. I'm truly sorry. Jeremy was such a smart, intelligent & nice person. May God Bless you all.

Jeremy was an amazing and loyal friend, a brilliant scientist, and an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person (with a great sense of humor). He will be truly missed. We were all blessed to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family and loved ones.

We've only known Jeremy for a few months. He needed a place to live while he completed his education at the University of Buffalo, so we rented him a room in our home. All that we really knew about him at the time was that he was a very educated and motivated individual continuing his education at UB to achieve his doctorate degree. But what we learned about him in those few months impressed us even more. Faced with adversities throughout his life, Jeremy was the type of person who could...

I remember Jeremy very well as a student at Peck School. He was a great kid with a wonderful attitude. My deepest condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I hope you find strength and comfort in the love of your family. I went to AHS with Jeremy, he was very kind hearted.
