Not sure what to say?

I just found out today that Jerry passed away and I'm so sad to hear. I was a nurse who worked with him in the operating room at GW during the 80's. I also helped him in his office and will always remember making him tuna on crackers before he saw his afternoon patients. He was a great inspiration to me when I left nursing and has been a solid support to me for the past 30 years. My condolences to the Canter family. He will be missed by many.

May the God of all comfort, comfort you all during this time of deep sorrow.

May god's loving kindness comfort you and help you through this sad and difficult time. Psalms 119 : 50,76 EJC. GA.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Canter family. May the peace of God rest with you. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Canter family. Dr. Canter was a devoted member of Princeton's Class of 1952 and we greatly appreciate all he did for Old Nassau.

Canter family...sorry to hear about Jerry. Miss seeing you all and wish you the best during these hard times.

I'm a 78 year old retired internist. As a young physician I soon learned that Jerry Canter was the finest General surgeon in D.C.; He was always professional, a gentleman and I always knew my patients were in good hands. I have fond memories. Barrett L. Burka, M.D.

Our deepest condolences to Doug, Ginny, and the Canter family. I very much enjoyed chatting with your Dad about his multifaceted career of achievements in medicine and, later, financial counseling - always with an inspirational focus on helping others.

Our heartfelt sympathies to the Canter family. We have lost a true son of Princeton and a respected member of the Great Class of 1952 who lived a purposeful and accomplished life.
