Miss hangin with you at your home, Janet and Ashley, I'm here is you NEED me?!

On this anniversary, I want to add that Jerry was a superlative human being. Kind, gentle, supremely intelligent and an excellent physician. He was an innovator in medicine. Those fortunate enough to count him as a friend are and have been blessed. May he be consoled in Heaven.

I am certain that I speak for Jerry's friends and colleagues with the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) that his sharp wit, sense and desire of community, and deep experience of Travel Medicine will be sadly missed. I remember nights out, in cities around the world, filled with discussion, wine, and laughter. Jerry, we love you and we will miss you.

I knew Jerry from Kaiser San Francisco, where we worked together, and remained friends for 40 years! I was so happy to see him, before he had to go, MISS ya old friend!

I am a long time friend of Nicole. I knew Jerry through her stories of him over the past 33 years. I always felt from her that he was such a loving supportive father that charished his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you deal with your loss. Warmest Regards, Marietta

Dr Jerry Greenbaum was a friend, a colleague and mentor. He was one of the original founders of the field of Travel Medicine, and his wry sense of humor, his wit, and his flair made our travel medicine and tropical medicine conferences memorable. He carried himself with great dignity and was respected immensely by his peers. Always cheery, with pinot noir in hand, and always praising Janet, Jerry Greenbaum's memory enriches the lives of all he touched. May God grant him eternal peace.

We are all very saddened by the passing of Jerry. He welcomed me into the family and always made me feel loved. I will remember his wit and generosity.
