Jerome Francis Volkmuth, age 62, of Brainerd, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Jerry was born in St. Cloud to Richard & Lois (Maehren) Volkmuth. On February 5, 1980 he married the love of his life, Anita Janowiak, together they raised 5 children.
Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years, Anita; children, Jeremy (Latisha) of Brainerd; Lanita Volkmuth (Robert Jessen) of Baxter; Nathan of Brainerd and Justin (Viktoriya) of Columbus, GA; mother, Lois Volkmuth of Sartell; siblings, Timothy (Barb) of Solon Springs, WI; Robert (Susan) of Brainerd; Peggy (Marc) Serani of Baxter; John (Katy) of Princeton; Jean Volkmuth of Baxter; Carol Volkmuth of Spokane, WA and Mary (Ben) Hawkins of Stanton, TX; grandchildren, Cynthia; Jayden; Carter; Julia; Mikah; Veronika; Lauren and Kacey; countless aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
Preceding Jerry in death are his father; son, Shane; grandparents; father & mother-in-law, Floyd & Juanita Janowiak; brother-in-law, Scott Janowiak.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Church on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11AM. Visitation will be at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, BRAINERD CHAPEL, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4-7PM and one hour prior to mass, Friday at the church.
Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, near Brainerd.
