i grew up in chandler and attended castle watching dave ransom rule the basketball court. elvis was my hero in those days but i remember thinking if david could sing, elvis would be in trouble. if you looked up the word "cool" in websters in those days, it would have simply said, 'dave ransom'. dave was unlike anyone i had ever known in my youth; me and my buddies secretly wanted to be like him in just about every way. i regret not having ever contacted david after high school and letting him...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Ransom family at this difficult time. I graduated from Castle High School with David. He as a wonderful athlete in his high school days (a joy to watch on the basketball court).

So sorry to hear about David. My brother Kent drives a bus, and saw David all of the time. They used to play baseball together when growing up in Newburgh. David & Barry both taught me to walk on stilts when I was very young. I always injoyed watching David play Basketball.
