Doctor Jerry Lee Cochran

I met Jerry on a fall afternoon in 1981.I had no idea how fortunate I was that he was on call at MMH. I first saw him 2 days after that motorcycle accident which left my right lower leg shattere. He iinformed me that due to my being over 25 and the severity of the damage I had a 25% chance of keeping the leg! I am very saddened to hear of Dr. Cochran. He was currently treating my 4 year old son for in-toeing. We drove 2 hrs from Lubbock just to see Dr. Cochran for the past 2 years. He was a delight to see and my son was always excited to get his stuffed animal from him at every visit. We will miss him greatly but know he is rejoicing with the angels. God Bless his family! He left a great legacy behind him.

We are so sorry to hear of Dr. Cochran's passing. We have loved having a Doctor so blunt and honest over the last several years. He will definitely be missed.

I am heartbroken to have just learned of Dr. Cochran's passing. I was beyond blessed to be a patient of his, although I only saw him personally on 2 visits. He was the sweetest most genuine professional I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was amazing at his job and I could tell he was just as amazing outside of work. Doc was an original that's for sure. Our family is blessed just to have had him as our Doc. Many mended knees. He had the most compassion for his patients never left that he didn't hug my neck. He will be greatly missed. May God bless the family.
