To the family of Dr. Haggard, I was a patient of his at the Greenwood facility for many years and after his first stroke and the termination of his practice I lost touch with him until I started back to working at the Jordan River Temple and I saw him almost every Friday over this past year or so and we renewed acquaintencship and he never let me get by with out a hand shake and greeting as I would come in to do my shift or when I saw him come through the veil. Suzanne and I were sorry that we missed you today at the funeral. It was a beautiful service; a fitting tribute to a wonderful friend, husband and grandfather. You and Jerry have always been such great friends and examples to us. You both have shared so much with us over the years, particularly your knowledge and testimony of the Savior. Without Jerry, Merle and Cam Carden and their family might not have joined the church. If that hadn't happened, I wouldn't have married John and had such a wonderful family. We will always remember Jerry with great appreciation, love and fondness.
