I didnt know Jerry well, but the few times I had the pleasure of interacting with him, it was evident he was a warm and loving father. Fifty plus years of friendship create a lot of memories. One of the earliest memories I have is when I first met Jerry. The year was 1964 and I remember well watching Jerry and his Dad, Jack, fly their control line Combat airplanes at the Dayton Model Airplane flying circles, located at that time at Nicholas Road and Cincinnati Street.
