Not sure what to say?

To all of Jerry's and Howie's dear friends: I'm sorry if my previous message here came as a bit of a shock to some. But I must sadly report that Howie Ducat (Jerry's Partner of 9 years) passed away on June 4th 2011 (I mistakenly said June 24th) as a result of a Motorcycle accident. As you can see from Howie's rather recent post, he never managed to fully heal after Jerry's death. Perhaps Howie simply needed more time...we'll never know. I hope and pray that Jerry and Howie have now found...

Was shocked to also learn of Howie's passing this past June 24th. May you both be at peace with each other.

Four years have passed... yet you are still with me every day.

Miss you terribly, Love you always, and thank you for making me who I am today.

Jerry was a friend and mentor to me for a many years. With his wonderful ways he has touched the lives of so many people and he will never be forgotten. I will see you again someday Jerry - with much love, Mona.

An extraordinary person who, during his short time on this earth, has had a profound influence on so many lives and in so many ways will be sorely missed. Jerry will, however, remain always in our hearts and minds. Good-bye friend.

Jerry was my mentor as well as a good friend and advisor. In all my life, outside of my immediate family, I have never experienced this type of pain for the loss of someone close. He is now with God and we will neet again.

Speaking words of sympathy to and about anyone we have known who dies unexpentantly is reaching deep inside for a voice from our oun disclaimed mortality. Jerry was a competent professional administrator and a man whose inner self gave easily and willingly to people as well as projects.

Jerry was the ultimate professional among professionals. To say he will be missed is not a true measure of our loss. Jerry I know that you are in a better place. We pray that your example will remain with us always and provide guidance to us all.

For Jerry, the living and learning was always about people. He cared for us all at ASA so deeply, and he leaves behind an extended family here who all miss him very much, as a boss, as a mentor and as a friend.
