I must say “it is hard for me to accept the passing of Jerry (Hobo).”” The feeling of loosing Jerry is analogous to the feeling of loosing a true blood brother. After all, we grew up together from the beginning of elementary and through the present. While Jerry will always be remembered for his performance in reference to golfing, I will always remember Hobo’s performance of the “Billy Tow Rivers” war dance. In Clanton Park, in Louise living room she had that table w/lots of pictures and HoBo big framed uniform picture sat on the bottom. I remember sitting on the bottom of that table looking at his picture.
For some reason, I equated that picture of him w/ the song “sitting on the dock of the bay”.
