Jerry was a great friend and a wonderful father. His ability to work with all kinds of people made me admire him. He is already greatly missed.

Jerry was my friend, going back to elementary school. Our lives shared many facets: playing one-o'-cat as kids, in an empty lot on the corner; attending South Side High School in Rockville Centre; being active in sports; attending a small college; volunteering for a form of national service (VISTA, PEACE CORPS); being committed educators; loving our dogs; having mothers who played weekly bridge together; having an older brother. So lucky to meet Jerry when Jen and Jaelyn became a family in China. He will be greatly missed.

Saw Jerry at our 50 th high school reunion. We laughed for hours. He lived directly in back of me growing up in RVC. Played some of that baseball on the school yard at Wilson school. My first crush was a girl named Rosie Rappaport who dumped me for Jerry to go with him to the sixth grade prom. He won many awards in high school for academics and athletics. Although I only saw him once or twice since high school I will miss his presence Richard Dickerman Dallas
