Jerry taught Scuba at Simon's Rock in 1983, and through those classes touched so many young lives. Through him, and indomitable Jo, I and so many friends (and my father) learned the love of diving. Vivid memories of his pool tests (with blacked out goggles) forcing us to address all sorts problems underwater with quiet deliberation --- as he said, 'deal with the problem, think it through." RIP Jerry, you taught so many people wonderful lessons.
