I didn't know Mr. Beazley really, just through my grandfather Robert Cooper, they both had shared Army service and both received the French Legion of Honour, I only met him at the ceremony, he seemed a nice and quiet man, like my grandfather. Both of their voices are gone now, but I'll never forget what they did for us, as my grandfather said "Just what I had to do, I'm not a hero" those are the words Heroes say, heroes like Mr. Beazley and my grandfather. I'll miss him but his voice will be heard above much of World War Two that once seemed more important.

Must have been a great man, my condolences to Emily and her family.
