Not sure what to say?

Please find comfort in Jesus words. "He will swallow up death forever, and he will wipe the tears from all faces."

Sen Helms helped me through a rough time against Caswell County Schools . I couldnt have asked for a kinder more concerned congressman than him. God bless him and his family . j whitt roxboro nc

Jessie helms was a great politician, but first he was a great man. He is surely missed. Rest in peace!

Dearest Helms Family,

Senator Helms was wonderful and we appreciate his service to this country and the godly example he left us. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. We so LOVED this great man. Gail & Eddie Brown

My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones!

Mr. Helms will always be OUR senator and those of his caliber are rare. No statesman or woman, or politician, or office holder compares to him. We would vote for him again if we can.

Thank you Senator Helms for being there for us and standing up for our values in Washington! May you receive the laurels in Heaven you richly deserve.

Sincerely,

He will be truly missed but I know Heaven has a new angel now. He did a lot for our country and I know your family will miss his so much, Just think no more pain and no more suffering. He is in a better place. It is nice to know we as christrians have another home to go to. God Bless you and you family and I will continue to pray for you all. Debbie Jones

My deepest sympathies go out to Mrs. Dot Helms and to the family of the Honorable Jesse Helms. I have admired Mr. Helms from the times I listen to him on WRAL-TV as a child. As I watched the memorial service via WRAL online on Tuesday my view and opinion of the Honorable Senator from North Carolina was further validated that this Christian Gentleman loved his family, his country, and the Lord and only sought to serve Him as best he could. May the blessings of our Lord comfort and keep you all.

Senator Jesse Helms was a bulwark statesman who upheld our constitution with an ethical resolve, even when faced with strong opposition, and we think this is why he was repeatedly elected to represent North Carolina in Congress. We so appreciated these traits of his and the many years that he dedicated to public service. We would like to express our appreciation to his family, too, because holding a political office often infringes on family privacy more so that other occupations do. ...

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle , just a wonderful all around Christian Man with the Great State of North Carolina for so many years.
