Not sure what to say?

Dad, you've left this earth for a better place but you'll always have a special place in my heart. I'm proud to be a Sumner and your first born. I am grateful for getting to know you and will always appreciate the times we had together. I'll remember your story-telling, your quick wit, your sense of humor, and your compassion for cats (maybe that's where I get it). Know that you were loved very much.

I am sorry that we have never met. And wishing we have. Ed and Mom have told me some wonderful things. Even though that we have never met I'm glad you were my grandpa. Lots of Love Brandi Chaney

I want you to have your great-grandchildren's names. They are Jasmine Marie Sumner, Cory Allen Sumner, Shawn Michael Sumner, Javier Lee Sumner, and Migel Sumner. Love you.

I just want to say that I am doing good for myself and am helping mom. I love you grandpa Jesse.

I want you to know that I am back home now and that I to look at your pictures and want to say that I love you too.

I know that I don't know you that well but you are still my grandfather and I just want to say that I do look at your pictures and just want to say that I love you.

You may not be with us now but we Sumner's keep growing to carry on the Sumner Legacy and I have a son to carry on the name Jesse Jerold Sumner 4th. So see we Sumner's may lay to sleep but there are others to go on. Love you Grandpa Jesse.

I am so glad to have had you as my dad and to have your name so that it will carry on with my son and his son also. I Love You Dad and You Will Always Be In My Heart...

I will continue to tell your great-grandson's Christian, Thomas, & Patrick all about you and show them your picture so they do not forget you. We Love You and you will always be in our Hearts....
