Holding Jess & her family in my heart on her birthday. I first met Jess doing yoga in Covelo CA. We held a memorial yoga class here last night with an altar for her. Other yogi friends were simultaneously practicing yoga in New York & Ecuador. Jess was a warm, welcoming effervescent human who I will miss every day of my life. Many years ago, we back packed the Yolla Bolly´s together and she was my steadfast companion & confidante. Her spirit flies free. My deepest condolences to her family...

I have so many fond memories of my life with Jessica, ever since age 13. We had the opportunity to last visit at her home in Penn Valley last winter...amidst the gardens, the beautiful new workshop with all of her blacksmithing tools and jewelery equipment...just waiting for her to make her magic...I have so many memories and long to create new ones. Jessica was like a part of our family. This is a photo of the flower arrangements Jess and I made for my sister's wedding party...we hand-picked...

Thank you, one and all, for your heartfelt remembrances of my beautiful Jessica. With each tribute, the weight of her loss becomes a little lighter, a little more bearable. Think of her when a whisper of a breeze passes you close, and leaves a fleeting scent of wildflowers. You'll know.

To my dearest Jessica. I will always cherish all the love and laughs you have given me as well as the world. The world is a darker place without your light shining so bright. Losing Jessica is like losing a family member, loved by so many, she was a beautiful flower, A songbird, she was the Clearwater that flows through the New Hampshire mountains, Every time I see a horse, I will think of her... She will have a great journey in the spirit world..

I am so terribly sorry for your loss! Jessica was a lovely woman, kind and generous with her beautiful spirit, sincerely interested in people and their lives. Such a devastating loss.

I am saddened by the news of Jessica. I remember as a little girl on the farm. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

I only knew Jess when she was a little girl, but she was a memorable shining light then. Sounds like she lived her life brilliantly. The world is better for her having been here and will miss her.
