I met Jessica 30+ years ago at a grocery store near my house. I worked evenings and she would bring her Cousins Jo and Lottie Smith to shop. We all became friends and kept in touch. Jessica was a faithful servant of God and I am sure, St. Peter had her wings ready upon her arrival. We last spoke in January 2024 when she was in "Fox Run" Assistant Living, waiting to see where she would be moved to live the remainder of her life. I did not know where she went. Ms. Schewe was Wonderful ! She Taught Our Daughter Alexandra Marie Gugino at St. Paul's School when she was little. Ms. Schewe was such a kind, gentle & lovely Lady. We all loved her so much. She's now in Heaven With the Angel's. God Bless Your Family Always.

Miss Schewe was my 6th grade teacher at St. Mary of Sorrows. Her first year of teaching. Have been corresponding with her for the last 5-6 years. Sent her cards for every holiday and her birthday. Loved talking to her about the good old days at. SMS. Will surely miss our chats. Went to Novenas on Friday nights with her, her Mom, and her Aunt Florence. I believe that was her Aunts name. Jessie and I have been friends since 1961 where we were assigned the same homeroom at Bishop O' Hern high school during our freshman year.We shared many wonderful times together with so many laughs.I was always hungry so Jessie shared half of her lunch with me. Mrs Schewe made such delicious sandwiches! We became such close friends over that sandwich sharing. We had many wonderful visits when I lived in Buffalo, followed by lengthy phone conversations when I left Buffalo in 2022.Invariably,...

I taught with Jess for 25 years, most of those as her partner teacher. She was the kindest, most compassionate woman I ever met. She thought of herself last in every situation. She was one of a kind. May you rest in peaces, Jess.
