Grew up on Orchard Parkway in Niagara Falls and knew Jes as he was one we looked up to. His parents and my parents were close friends and his sister, Ann and my sister were dears growing up together and graduating high school together. My Jes rest in peace as I was saddened to hear of his passing.

A mentor from afar. Reading his obituary, we see JS had a full life. Much to admire and to learn from him. In particular, his books, The Art of Advise and The Wise Advisor, helped me see how to work as thinking partner to executives with greater intentionality and discipline. Condolences to his family. A life well lived.
