Jewel Butler

I remember the Butlers from their Sunday attendance at Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Jewel was a member of the wonderful experience of his high school team back in 1958 when Schlarman High School, a tiny Catholic parochial school of several hundred students went all the way to the elite 8 in the Illinois State tournament where they lost to the team that placed 2nd, Rock Falls. Rock Falls was a public school and had a student population about 7-8 times as big as SHS. I was a grade school...

My condolences to the Bulter Family. Mr. Bulter was a gem for sure. I really enjoyed hearing stories about the places they travel to around the country. He gave treats to all the dogs/puppies in the neighborhood. He will surely be missed. We love you Ms. Annie. Praying for strength and comfort for you and your family during this difficult time period.
