Not sure what to say?

I don't know Jim, but reading his story just gives me inspiration! Thank you Jesus for being in his life! And thank you for sharing his story!

Jim was my instructor at McNeal in the Super Cub and some in the C-185 between January and June 1996, and Edna taught us bookkeeping in preparation for our Tribal Air/Communications ministry in the Philippines. On one of my early sessions with Jim in the C-185, I think my second or third flight, Jim covered up the airspeed indicator with one of those rubber disks with the suction cup on the back as we were making a landing pattern, and I thought that wasn't good because I was so new to the...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His holy ones.

He was a manof God

Gracious. Kind. Generous. Stable. Jim has had a great influence on my life and family over many decades. He was leading missionary training when my parents began their missionary careers. He landed aircraft in our front yard, which was the runway back then. In later years he provided guidance and leadership of our missionary aviation team as we flew aircraft in faraway places. Watching him as he navigated deep waters of joy and sorrow while building teams, equipment, facilities, and people, I...

Our time at TA/C was in 1984. Among the many folks we became acquainted with their were Jim and Edna. It was my privilege to have Jim train me for my commercial pilot certificate in Comanche N93F. One of Janet’s favorite memories is when Edna helped solve her issue with migraine headaches. Thank you Jim and Edna for the beautiful testimony of your lives. Janet and I continue to be involved with the flight program as alumni.

Jim, you will be greatly missed. One of my prize...

When I went to Arizona to take the missions pilot course Brother Jim was one on my instructors, I appreciate his sense of humor, his high quality of pilot, his patient with me, but more than nothing his daily walk with the Lord, such a great example for me.

It was always an uplifting experience talking to Jim. He was truly a man of God. I knew Jim for 14 years but still feel I knew him all my life. D is Indeed GOOD!
