I would just like to say that I am very sorry for your loss.
I was always hoping that 3rd strike would come out with another album. Jim's voice was amazing. Lost Angel is one of my all time favorite albums. I loved the mix of rock and rap. Even though I live in the Central Valley I could still relate to everything they were saying in the album. I know its a litte late but my thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

(that is what he used to call me and...

I just heard about Jims passing a few days ago. I am a big fan of his. 3rd Strikes album "Lost Angel" helped me through getting sober years back. I got to thank Jim for that and I am grateful I had that oppertunity. I was so saddened by the news. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through. My deepest sympathies to you all and you will be in my prayers. I put together a little tribute video to Jim. It's not much but it made me smile. Anyways, check it out if you would like....

It has almost been a month since my Uncle Jim passed away but the wound still feels fresh. When I start to feel down, I think of all the good times we had and it helps me to be strong. Jim was and still is a big part of my life. When my brother and I were "little nerds" (as Jim would call us), we would hang out in his room and watch him create his music. I remember just being in awe of how fast and good the music would come out.

Even though Jim was a master at his craft, he would...

My name is Julie and even though Jimmy is my little brother, at times he was my protector, confidant, personal comedian, and "junk tv" watching partner. The role he played that that I will cherish the most though, was uncle to my two boys, Anthony and Nick. Jimmy was 14 when Anthony was born and 16 when Nick came along. Having Jimmy as your uncle was like hitting the lottery - part father, guide, mentor, but mostly playmate. It was an endless E-Ticket ride. My cousin Scott was correct when he...

Jims’ family would like to take a moment to thank you for your support during the past two weeks. It’s clear to us through your actions that we all lost someone special when we lost Jim.

Thank you for the phone calls, cards, visits, delicious food, prayers, flowers and thoughts. Thank you to those that organized and attended the candle light vigil at Point Fermin Park – with a special thanks to the people that continued...
