I never knew Jim, but as a fellow vet who served in the "Yuke" after him, I feel the loss of a fellow MP. My deepest condolences to the family.

My deepest and sincerest sympathies to the Kovacs family. Jim was always a gentleman with a sense of humor. Times in Alaska were hard but Jim made them bearable.

Jane, Matt and Mike, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Words can not express my depth of sadness. He was a great man and my life is definately better for having known him. May God bless you all and keep you in his comforting arms.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I wish I could have made it to the visitation, but I have been laid-up with a pinched nerve in my shoulder and back, unable to move. If I can ever do anything for you don't hesitate call.
