I read about Jim's passing in the October, 2019 edition of Kansas Alumni magazine. I was a classmate of Jim's, working on getting my degree at the KU School of Architecture, and graduating in 1960. I remember the nights in Marvin Hall, where the students struggled to meet deadlines with projects prepared by the design professors. Dear Helene, I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Jim, I was so looking forward to seeing you both again this summer in Island Heights. My memories of him will always be fond ones. From recording voiceovers in my home studio, to just 'shooting the breeze' with him every summer. I know he is being well taken care of now at the hands of our father in heaven. Hope to catch up with you soon.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies for the loss of your loved, who will be remembered for his contribution to the film industry. May you find comfort and help in God during this time of sorrow.
