And to his brother Doyle.. I am truly saddened by the news I received when I called on the day of the funeral, planning on another visit.

Never knew Jim as anything but a great man. Sorry to be without him but glad to have known him for so long in my life.

Dear Family, my late husband was a fellow firefighter with Jim and considered him a good friend. I believe Jim bought a motorcycle from Gene. I know there were happy times then. He spoke of Jim often and we visited once while we were all in AZ. I am truly sorry for your loss.
