Not sure what to say?

Still in tears.... I thank the lord everyday for putting Mr. Horne in my life!

I don't think there was a better place to play tennis in the early 1990s than in Doc Horne's complex. My sister and I became better players and better people through Doc and the community. I lost many matches there but I won a lot more in life through our lessons. I will always be grateful.

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY! MR.HORNE WAS YES INDEED A GOOD MAN! ATHLETIC AND HAD PLENTY ENERGY TO TEACH ME THE GAME OF TENNIS AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE! GAINES PARK COMMUNTIY CENTER WAS WHERE WE ALL LOVED 2 BE!! MR. HORNE IS GONE N WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! MAY U REST WELL AND N PEACE!

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My Deepest condolences on your loss. He was a wonderful man.

God Bless the family! What a Great individual and I am proud to have known Doc.

I extend my condolences to the family of Jimmie Horne, Sr. He was a great inspiration to me, and he taught me much about tennis. Not only did he expose area children to tennis, but he gave lessons to me and my fellow seniors at Cypress Lakes. I will always remember two of his comments: "Tennis is a gentleman's game." and "In tennis, your movements must be beautiful."
I and my friends will truly miss him.

To Mr. Horne's Family and Friends,
He was a great inspiration to my tennis career here in South Florida. He will be missed! God Bless you and yours!
