Jimmy N. Hoffman, 89, of Caldwell, Idaho, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. Family members were with him.
Jim was born in Alpine, Wyo., which was Alpine, Idaho, before the Palisades Reservoir changed boundaries.

Dear Matt and Family,
Please accept my condolances for the loss of Mr. Hoffman. I did not know him personally, but the stories Matt told me showed him to be a great and wonderful person--uncle, brother, etc. My sincerest sympathies. My thoughts are with you today.
