At age 17, I too, was one of those Mr. Manpers was kind enough to extend credit to. And for the past 52 years all my tires have been bought from Drums. I can see him standing behind the counter as soon as you open the door as I type. Condolences to to the family.

What a wonderful kind businessman was very fair & compassionate. Praying for the family.

Jimmy Gave me my first set of tires on credit. I will never forget that and to this day I still get my tires at drum´s tire. Thank you Jimmie giving me my first credit. We will all miss you.

We have so many fond memories of Mr Maners, Mrs Maners, and the family through the years. He was a stalwart in the Dad's Club at Catawba Academy and helped raise most of the money for our sports programs. The Maners were also perennial attendees at the Jack Sutton Valentines Party, an infamous Rock Hill event. I always enjoyed spending time with them and catching up on their latest escapades. Mr. Jimmy helped me with my 1st set of times for my 70 Chevelle. He was always friendly & willing to help whenever I went to Drum's Tire.

I'm so sorry for your loss I first met Mr managed many years ago when I work for Allen Hamilton hobby acres nursery and missionary and he kind of had contracted to do all of the work on Mr Hamilton's cars and we used to cut his mama's grass until Mr Hamilton passed away in 97 God bless y'all
