Not sure what to say?

Dear Kip and family, I wasn't aware that Jo had passed until I read the beautiful article in the "Extraordinary Life" section of the Courant. I had the pleasure of working with Jo while at St. Mary's Hospital from 1996-1999. She has always been an inspiration to me and others. I often refer to her and another colleague, Marcella, who like myself returned to college as adults. I use our stories to encourage others regarding education at any age. I was so saddened at the loss of this very dear person. Mrs. T was so good to me when I moved to CT. She taught me many things that I will carry throughout my life. She was a true inspiration to me and she will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Aunt Jo passing away. She truly was a great woman, mother, wife and aunt. She will be missed by us all. I am sorry that I am unable to join the family for the memorial service on Sunday.

I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Jo was a beautiful person and a joy to be with. I was fortunate to see her in August at my dad's in Saybrook and have pictures. I know she is greatly missed. Pray for strength and peace. Deb Stacey, son Michael and daughter Tricia
