Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working with Dr.G for over 2 years at the Human Patient Simulation Center at UF(2005-2008). Dr.G was an incredible man with a heart of gold! I remember when someone tried to break into my house once and how concerned he was and invited my roommate and I to come stay with him and his wife. That's the type of person he was. Always a smile, always a joke, a wonderful sense of humor and so smart and passionate about his work. I heard the news today and I was devastated. ...

Dear Nik, Didi and the entire family,
I had the pleasure of working with your dad on many occasions and he never failed to teach me something every time. I had the privilege of meeting many of you over the years, and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your husband and father was a very special man.

Although I never got chance to meet with Dr. Joachim S. Gravenstein, hearing the moving stories of his remarkable life was always a joyful experience to me. My deepest sympathy goes to his entire family.

Nik and family members: Nik - our friendship goes back to Pharmacology in 1974 when you were a lab tech. Although we have never really kept in contact, I just happened to be in Gainesville this weekend and saw the paper regarding your father. Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your father. May God in his loving way guide your family through these sad times and rejoice in the wonderful memories you have. Dawn

To The Family of Nik (J.S.) Gravenstein.
My deepest sympathy. For many of us, who were privileged to know him both in Gainesville and abroad (and there was never a distance in communications with him), he was a life long role model and mentor to steer our professional thinking in medicine.

To Stefan, and family,
Everyone at the Glennan Center was sad to hear the news of your father's passing. Your dad was a remarkable man, loved by so many and leaves a rich legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
