Joan Alessio

Joan was the glue that held our bridge games together, a wonderful friend, organizer, fabulous cook and always cheerful and fun. I loved that she always called the ladies "flower".

Neighbours in Campinas, such great times Then friends for years wherever we were. Thank you Joan and Chuck, from Alison and Piero and Daniela too.

Uncle Chuck :( I am so so sad I hear of Aunt Joan´s passing and that I had not seen her in so long!! You were both my adopted Aunt and Uncle. I appreciate all the many years you picked me up from school during my breaks, all the meals and "hooky pokey" enjoyed. The memories of Brasil, your visits to Guadeloupe with full turkeys in you luggage, and all the wonderful phone calls my mom and Aunt Joan enjoyed over the years. Chuck, so sorry to hear about Joan's passing. She was such a life saver to my mom and I in Brasil. Pure fun!!!

So sorry for your loss-will always remember Joan in Brazil, where I met both of you while visiting my parents. I also will miss her classic response when calling her"hello sunshine".
