I met Joan in 4th grade at Sacred Heart School. We graduated from Sacred Heart and then from St. Peter's together. We received Confirmation in the same class. Although time and distance took us in different directions, it was always special to get together at reunions and at chance meetings. Childhood memories last a lifetime. Rest in peace, Joan.
