I just read through an IBM post the passing of Joan. I have fond memories of Joan. She was a role model for many young women that followed her in IBM. Sending condolences and sympathy to the Family.

In my capacity as chief academic officer, I was privileged to get to know Joan when she served on the Board of Trustees of her alma mater, Cabrini College. I admired her for what she had accomplished in her career, but even more so because of who she was as a person. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family.
