I worked with Joan for years at Derrick's ESSO and then Kimball's EXXON. She was a great friend and I have lots of great memories

I knew Joan as a feisty, honest, funny, brave, loving and generous person for only a short while, but I will carry her in my heart as a shining star to the end of my days.
