I knew Joan as a feisty, honest, funny, brave, loving and generous person for only a short while, but I will carry her in my heart as a shining star to the end of my days. May she rest in peace, and may her many, many friends and family take comfort in their memories of her and her love for them as she did.

WE HAD THE PLEASURE AND PRIVILEGE OF KNOWING JOAN AS A CLOSE FRIEND SINCE 1975. SHE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CHURCH WHICH WAS OBVIOUS IN EVERYTHING SHE DID.
