Joan Devenney

I am so very sorry that I just learned of Joan s passing ! Her and her husband I have known for many years as my co workers and patients at Walmart ! I first met Joan at the door of Walmart as I worked as a optician for the optical shop . Later her smiling face every day would become a beam to my life as to my faith . I later moved to Wake forest Walmart and her and Bill would come in to see me about their glasses , and I always enjoyed their company and companionship! Greeted with a big hug...

I have known Joan since before she and Bill married and I was a teenager and have enjoyed all the times we have connected. Whether it was Machen League at the local OPC or at Faith Pres. or going on adventures with the youth group it was well worth knowing her and her love for Jesus.
