Got to know Joan at Church of the Transfiguration and then saw her frequently when visiting my mother at Our Lady of the Valley. Such a sweet lady. We had a great outing a couple years ago when she came to Peaks of Otter with me, my mom, and Ms. Talbot to see the fall colors and have lunch. I will remember her fondly.
