Not sure what to say?

When I taught at Tawanka, Joan was the Kindergarten teacher. She was a gifted teacher, and I often thought of her as my role model. We became good friends and were able to enjoy time together after retirement. She was so kind and a marvelous person. My condolences to her family. I will miss her.

My twin sister, Judy and I would like to send our condolences to the Frank's family. We went to Neshaminy and graduated with Bonnie snd Pete. We will always remember Mr. and Mrs. Franks with fondness. We would also like to send condolences to Bonnie on the passing of Pete. We just found out this week that he passed. We will always remember him and what a good time we had at Neshaminy.

Joan was much loved at Tawanka she was an inspiration to all who knew her.

When my father read of Mrs. Frank's passing in the paper, he said "Mrs. Franks was a really nice lady." When I said "really Dad?, he answered with such feeling "oh my YES!". The Darden family, with our connections to the Franks family through Neshaminy Langhorne, Neshaminy Maple Point and especially the "Early Birds" golfers at the Middletown Country Club, send our sincere sympathies.

" Sending thoughts & prayers to Mrs. Franks family, she was my Kindergarten teacher in Walter Miller Elem. School. I loved her playing the piano and us all singing along and I still have all good memories of her, I am thankful to have had such a wonderful person for my Kindergarten teacher. Very sad to hear about her passing. RIP Mrs. Franks."

I had the privilege of having Mrs. Franks for kindergarten was well as being in the chorus all through elementary school. She was a great teacher, piano player, and an all around great lady. So sad to hear of her passing. She was one of the people that made Tawanka not just a school but a family. Rest in peace Mrs. Franks.

Mrs. Franks was my kindergarten teacher at Tawanka for the 1976-1977 school year. She made the recommendation to my parents that I go to "Pre-1st" instead of 1st grade the following year. It was the best decision that helped me grow and become the person I am today. Thank you Mrs. Franks for everything. You truly were a treasure to anyone who was lucky enough to have you for a teacher. May you rest in peace.

As the kindergarten teacher at the Tawanka Elementary School, Joan Franks introduced hundreds of children to learning and developed their love of learning. For most of those years Mrs. Franks performed her educational magic twice each day to accommodate the children in the morning and afternoon sessions. She was a marvel in the classroom. I respected and appreciated the contributions she made as a member of the Terrific Tawanka Team.

I'm sure I speak for all of my class of 1959 when I offer sincere condolences to The Franks family. Mrs Franks was my choir director , she was always happy to attend many 1959 class reunions with Harry and later by herself. So many wonderful memories of Mrs Franks! Rest inPeace. ❤
