Joanne is how she introduced herself to mom & I just days after moving across the street from the Grindle's on Matthews St. in Bristol. Her daughter, Jenny became my very best friend. So Joanne was like a second mother to me. Where ever Jenny went, they took me. Jenny & I would be playing Barbie's at my house and Joanne would call my mom to "send the girls over for lunch". I spent so many weekend nights watching movies (on the fold out couch) with a big bowl of popcorn Joanne would make us....
