Joan Howard Obituary
Shrewsbury - Joan M. Howard (Dawson), 79, died on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family. Joan is survived by three daughters: Joanie Mason (Andy Bobby), Linda (Bernard) Boit, and Beth (Ed) Kemp. She was "Nana" to grandchildren: Melissa (Chris) Shaffer, Tim (Macy) Kemp, Autumn and April Boit, and three great grandchildren: Sierra Crone, Mason Spearing, and Grant Shaffer. She is also survived by one brother, Dennis Dawson of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. She was excited to be welcoming another great grandchild and first great-great grandchild in March 2019. Joan was predeceased by grandson Stephen Kemp and son-in-law Alan Mason and brothers, Vernon, Melvin (Doc) and her twin brother Larry.
The family will receive friends at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Rd.) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday October 19, 2018 at 2:30pm. Interment Mays Chapel United Methodist Church. A guest book is available at www.lemmonfuneralhome.com
