My Dear Ken, the news is shocking, but can appreciate your position in knowing she has gone to meet the Lord after long suffering with pain. We know she will be missed, but have patience; God Loves you.

I was shocked and sadden to hear of Joan's passing. I knew her as a kid when she lived across the street from us (Waterlick Rd.). She cut my hair when she worked/owned His & Hers, and it was always a pleasure to talk with her while she cut my hair. I feel like I know all of you for she talked of her family frequently. I know for a fact she really loved her Husband and her children. My mother and her mother-in-law were friends until they both went to be with the Lord.
