Sorry for your loss. Joan was a very lovely person, always spoke to you and always had a smile for you. She was a year ahead of me in school. R.I.P

Joan was my best friend growing up. I was lucky enough to reconnect with her many years later and we've remained close. I attended her memorial service and was very comforted to witness the strong love of her family & friends. Joan was sweet, loved unconditionally, and was very giving of herself to everyone. Dear, dear Joan, we will all miss you very much.

I left you in the morning,
With a sunset glow,
As you still walked beside me
Which made me sad to go.

I believe Joan was the Valedictorian of my graduating class in 1970 at Darby Township High School. On behalf of her classmates, condolences to the family and RIP Joan.
