Dear Nina and Donna, I live in Massachusetts now, but read the Times Union obituaries every week. I am so sorry to read of your Mom´s passing. I remember her as a very kind, welcoming neighbor on Exchange Street. She was always happy to see me. She was never too busy to show her kittens and chat. She is a good memory in my childhood, an adult who made me feel what I said was important I am grateful to have known her Very Sincerely, Mary Ann DiPierro-Witmer

Condolences to Joan´s family. So sad she passed, Joan was a terrific person, fun to be with and extremely pleasant. Always loved, supportive mother and wife. Consistent and stable was the way she lived her life. "She done good". RIP, Joan

Joan was such a sweet sweet lady. Although we didn't see her often, she was always in an upbeat mood. Our last interaction was one warm summer day when I was coming in from my garage and she was going for a walk around the outside of Beltrone on the sidewalk. I gave her my blue hat with a wide brim to shade her from the sun. She was so appreciative, it made me feel good to share it. She loved, and appreciated all of you and admired you as well. Our sincere condolences.
