So very sorry to hear of Joanne's sudden passing. Enjoyed visiting with her numerous times each year at the State Fair Haunted House and marveled at how much energy she had. She always had that HUG waiting for you. I will miss that along with her smile. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Joanne and I were neighbors when we lived on 10th Avenue South. She, my sister and I would sit on her front porch and play 'jacks" for hours. My family then moved and over the course of time we lost touch. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family.
I was so surprised to see, that in her obituary, her daughter, Carrie, is married to Rob Luebesmier, who is the grandson of Alvina Buersken Luebesmier, my grandmother's sister. It is such a small world.
Rest in Peace Joanne.

I worked with Joanne at Apollo and loved seeing her smile every day. I was sad when she retired. She would still come to join us when we had potluck lunches after she retired. Personally, I loved going to the Bingo Emporium and chatting away the time as we played bingo together and I was sad when the Emporium closed as I only got to see her at work. I already missed seeing her daily at Apollo and now am so sad I won't see her again until we meet in heaven. She was an angel to many on earth and I am sure she is looking over her family and friends now from heaven.

So sorry to hear of Joannes passing. She was my son Rileys paraprofessional at Apollo High School. She loved him like her own son and supported him even after he graduated high school. She often bought him his favorite m&ms, attended his power soccer games and always checked to see how he was doing. Praying for her family during this difficult time
