I just heard of Jodi's passing-I'm so sorry for the family's loss. I knew Jodi as a childhood friend in Grand Forks. I have wonderful memories of Jodi-especially the times spent out at "Bapa and Nanna's" farm. It appears from what I read of others that knew her, Jodi always kept her great sense of humor, kindness, and absolutely contagious laughter.

Jodi was a wonderful friend. I will have many wonderful memories of our days as Alpha Chi's at Millikin. When she moved to Crystal Lake we became friends again. I'll always have a smile remembering days at the beach with our boys, bike rides, camping and just hanging out. We had a great time attending our 20th college reunion together. I was so lucky to have Jodi as a friend. I will love her and miss her always.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of a dear 'sister' I knew from Millikin. I can still hear her laughter way back from all these years. She was our Petey and so sweet and kind to everyone. Jodi lived her life with purpose, determination, and grace. She loved her family greatly, especially her sons, Michael and Noah. We will feel the pain of her absence forever but rejoice in the assurance of seeing her again in heaven. A bright light has gone out of our family. You were greatly loved, my sweet Jodi.

I am so sorry about your wife. Jack found this on Facebook & called me. You can be at peace that she is out of pain & is a special Angel to you & your 2 sons. Michael Jr. looks like you did when you were his age. I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it to the Funeral as I am recuperating from congestive heart failure & will have surgery to replace a wire on my pacemaker in January. My prayers are for you & your 2 sons.

Micheal, Jack found this on facebook. I am so sorry to about your loss. Keep your Faith & love your children. Your older son really does look like you did. I'm not going to be able to be there as I was hospitalized for week for COPD & heart problems that was headed for congestive heart failure. So I don't do much as they have to replace my wire wire on my Pace Maker after the first of the year. But my prayers & thoughts are with you & your family.

I enjoyed the time we were able to spend together Thanksgiving weekend talking about old times, growing up (some did some didn't) and how much we missed each other over the last few years living so far apart. You were a shining star on the ice as a young girl and I hope there are ice rinks in heaven so you can shine even brighter!

Jodi has been in our life since my husband was in high school with her. She never forgot a friend.
I pray God watches over you and cares for you, as you learn to understand that Mom is no longer in pain.
We will miss Jodi, especially her Laughter and Grace. She could make anyone comfortable.
Boys hang onto your Dad, and Dad you do the same for your Son's. There are many people whose hearts were touched by your Mom and I wanted to let you know that we all hurt as well; she was a great lady, taken way too quickly.

I have so many wonderful memories of Jodi and I will miss her so very much. Boy, did we have a lot of laughs! What a sense of humor she had. And the love she had for her boys, she always said "the sun rises and sets for my boys!" I will miss her terribly and am so sorry she is gone so soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Jodi was the embodiment of courage, strength, compassion, and love. I have learned so much about all of these just by having her as a friend. She made me smile every time we talked. I will miss her greatly.

It was my great good fortune to have know Jodi as a student at Millikin. Jodi exemplified all the characteristics of a strong leader, a great student, and a wonderful person. She was my student for two years and a member of the Millikin Marketing Association in which she played a major leadership role. Jodi's passion for her students and teaching was evident every day here at Cary-Grove and it was contagious! I was very fortunate to have know her and work with her. The Cary-Grove family will miss her greatly. May God grant her peace and know she is now in a place where there is no pain, suffering or sorrow.

Jodi (Mrs. Harrison) taught our son at Cary Grove High School. She was patient, sweet, and very bright. I knew she was a winner at our first parent/teacher night.
We hear rumors that she was battling cancer, but was shocked to hear the news of her passing. Our family will always remember her.

JODI WAS NOT ONLY A FANTASTIC YOUNG LADY, IN EVERY REGARD, AND WILL BE MISSED BY EVERYONE WHO KNEW HER. WE HAVE TO THINK THERE IS SOMETHING REALLY UNFAIR ABOUT THIS SITUATION, BUT AS CHRISTIANS AND BELIEVERS, WE HAVE TO TRUST THE LORD HAS A REASON FOR WANTING HER IN HEAVEN AT THIS TIME.
GOD BLESS JODI'S IMMEDIATE FAMILY AND HELP THEM TO ENDURE THIS EXTREMELY SAD EVENT.
