Joe was taken away from us way too soon. Joe was born in Almagreira, Santa Maria, Azores. He arrived in Sunnyvale, CA in 1966. He worked along with his parents in the fields before entering into construction as a drywall installer in 1967. This started his 48 year career as a general contractor. He leaves behind his life partner Margarita Quea. His sons: John Andrade, Jason Cooper, daughter Alicia Andrade-Cuevas and son-in-law John Cuevas. He also leaves five grandchildren: Jessica and Jacob Andrade; Isabel, Alexis and Isaac Cuevas. His sisters and brother-in laws: Linda and David Sequeira, Armenia and Kevin Jefferson; with niece Kristen and nephew Brian. He is also survived by his best friend and the mother of his children Christina Andrade. Along with many lifelong friends and family members. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 6-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 10:30AM at Five Wounds Parish, 1375 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our condolences to Joes family. He was a very special person and always made us laugh. He will be missed. We loved him and still can't believe he is gone. He is in a very special, better place and an angel in heaven. We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to know him.
